Day 1 · ~12 min
See what an agent actually is
In one lesson you'll feel the difference between a chatbot and an agent — and see it on your own business.

Lesson: an agent is a worker, not a talker

A chatbot answers whenever you ask. Type, get an answer, done. The burden is always on you to know what to ask next.

An agent is a worker you brief. You hand it a job — "handle my follow-ups" — and it works the task using your instructions and your information. You direct; it does. That's the shift that matters to a business owner: you stop doing the work, and start running it.

See it on your own case

Type one task that eats your time, then flip between what a chatbot gives vs what an agent does.

Chatbot

Ask it something, and it answers — one exchange at a time.

Agent

Tap the Agent side to see the agent take your whole task and run with it.

Why it matters to YOUR business

Every hour you spend re-doing a task an agent could run is an hour not spent where only you add value. You're not here to replace the work — you're here to give it backup. That's the whole point of the next three lessons.

Checkpoint — prove it to yourself
You understand the difference and can name it on your own task.
Done ✓ Gold earned.

Often it's one of these:

  • Not sold on the difference? → A chatbot answers; an agent completes a job. If 12 clients need follow-ups, the chatbot helps you write one; the agent does the whole flow.
  • Still fuzzy? → Mark it done and keep going — Day 2 builds one, and seeing it will lock it in.

Day 2 · ~14 min
Build the brain — your agent
You'll build your own agent by writing its job description (a "brief"), then hand it a real task.
Finish Day 1 first — or skip ahead if you know this.

Lesson: your agent is a brief, not magic

An agent is "smart" — but it needs instructions. That instruction is a brief: who you are, what task, how you want it done. Write a good brief once, and the agent does that job whenever you open it. This is the skill you're learning: writing briefs.

Your agent prompt — built from your card

Here's the brief for your situation (assembled on your device from your Battle-Tested Card).

You are my follow-up agent. My superpower is turning skeptical clients into signed contracts. Write a short, warm, personal follow-up for each person, with ONE next step. Keep it human, no hard sell.

This is the "blueprint chip" lesson — your prompt, ready to paste.

Do it in ChatGPT

Open chatgpt.com → New chat → paste the prompt above → send. It should ask you questions — that's it calibrating to you. Answer them, then test it on one real client.

⚙ Two minutes in Settings — worth it

Memory (Settings → Personalization): ON quietly remembers facts across chats — fine for most; OFF if you share the account or discuss sensitive client matters. Your brief does the heavy lifting; memory is seasoning, not the meal.

Can't send → some free tiers cap long messages; shorten the prompt to its first two lines and continue.

Same agent, other tools (Claude / Gemini)

Your brief is the agent; the tool is just the office. Claude: create a Project, paste your brief into its instructions. Gemini: save a "Gem" with the same text. One brief, anywhere.

Checkpoint
Your agent is saved and answered your first real example.
Done ✓ Gold earned.

Nine times out of ten it's one of these:

  • It answered like a generic chatbot → you may have pasted only part of the prompt. Paste all of it, from "You are" to the last line.
  • It says it can't → some free tiers block long prompts; shorten or start a fresh chat.
  • It asked questions instead of acting → good sign. Answer them once.
Self-reported. Stored only on this device. We never see what you type.
Day 3 · ~14 min
Connect your tools
Your agent stops living in a chat and starts reaching your real tools.
Finish Day 1–2 first — or skip ahead.

Here's what's coming: a "brain vs. hands" explainer, a tool chooser (Gmail / Sheets / Slack), and the honest free-vs-paid box. Plus a plain-English take on security — your agent is the same class of tool as Slack/Monday/Gmail you already trust.

Day 4 · ~12 min
Deploy it — and prove it
Test it on the real thing, lock it in, and collect your Deployment Card.
Finish Day 1–3 first — or skip ahead.

Here's the finish: a 3-item checklist (real input tested / sounds like you / chat pinned) that arms the "Deploy" button, then your gold-rimmed Deployment Card to save.
